DAY 01 : SPAIN > DELHI
Flight to Delhi. Transfer to the hotel
Delhi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, has been the heart of India's history for more than a millennium. Known by many names over time—Indraprastha in the Mahabharata, Dilli in medieval chronicles—it has been the capital of several powerful empires, including the Delhi Sultanate, the Mughal Empire, and the British Raj.
Each dynasty left its mark: from the imposing Qutub Minar and the majestic Humayun Tomb to the grandeur of the Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. In the 20th century, New Delhi was designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker as a symbol of imperial power. Today, Delhi is a dynamic fusion of ancient heritage and modern ambition—a city where history and contemporary life coexist in harmony.

Agra, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, is one of the most iconic cities in northern India. It reached its peak during the Mughal Empire, when it was made the capital by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Under his reign, and that of his successors Jahangir and Shah Jahan, Agra was transformed into a center of art, architecture, and refined culture.
The city is world-famous for the Taj Mahal, the monument to eternal love built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. In addition, it is home to other jewels of Mughal art such as the Agra Fort and the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Today, Agra is a living testament to the splendor of India's imperial past, where history meets architectural beauty at every turn.

The first will be in the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar as the new capital of the Mughal Empire. This city, with its imposing red sandstone architecture, offers an extraordinary testimony to Mughal splendour. After the visit, continue to Jaipur.
Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur was India's first planned city. Designed according to the principles of Vastu Shastra (traditional Hindu architecture), Jaipur is distinguished by its geometric layout, wide avenues and urban symmetry, something revolutionary for its time. Known as the "Pink City" since 1876, when its buildings were painted this color to welcome the Prince of Wales, Jaipur majestically combines tradition and modernity. It was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Amber and later of the state of Rajasthan after independence from India.
